Remit

The Advisory Board advises OCNLR on strategic issues related to Access to HE. It considers local, regional and national issues and concerns affecting OCNLR’s work as an Access Validation Agency. It identifies opportunities for the promotion of Access to HE within the region.

Membership

The Board of Trustees appoints a trustee from Higher Education to chair the Advisory Board.

All OCNLR Access to HE Providers are entitled to representation on the Advisory Board. The person attending on behalf of the organisation must have Access to HE experience. This will normally be the Access to HE coordinator at the centre.

All Universities and HE Institutions which receive OCNLR Access to HE learners are entitled to representation on the Advisory Board.

Mode of Operation

The Advisory Board meets twice yearly, in the autumn and spring terms..

The Director of Quality and Access to HE Curriculum Officer co-ordinate the meetings..
