Admin Officer – Registration and Certification
Open College Network London Region (OCNLR) is an awarding organisation and is also licensed by the National Open College Network (NOCN), to award nationally recognised Qualifications and credit-based regional accreditation.
OCN London Region is also the Access Validating Agency (AVA) for the London Region, licensed by the Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education (QAA) to approve and certificate Access to Higher Education Diplomas.
OCNLR is seeking to appoint an Admin Officer - Registration and Certification on a permanent contract.
In this role you will have the responsibility for the accurate processing of learner registrations and results before issuing certificates as awarded by and through OCN London Region.
This will involve:
- Undertaking initial checks of registrations and results and follow up actions.
- Operating the database and performing data entry and data processing tasks.
- Undertaking data entry processes associated with learner registration and results
- Operating full certification procedures for OCNLR including printing and proofing
- Providing excellent customer service
- Working as part of the admin team to respond efficiently to queries regarding courses and certification
You will be educated to a minimum of Level 3 and be able to demonstrate and have a minimum of 1 year’s admin experience. You will have current knowledge and recent experience of using a database including data entry and processing, as well as accurate keyboard and word processing skills, excellent skills in written and oral communication, planning and organisation, negotiation and problem solving. You will also be able to work to deadlines, on your own initiative and as part of a team, and to establish and maintain a broad range of professional relationships.
The role is full time (35 hours per week) and based at our offices in Angel Gate.
Salary will start at £22,506 with annual incremental rises to £25,938.
