Tower Hamlets Lifelong Learning is located on the corner of The Highway and Schoolhouse Lane next to the limehouse link tunnel. The nearest DLR station is Limehouse and the local bus is the D3. It is also a short walk from Commercial road where buses 15, 115 run frequently.
Tower Hamlets Adult education runs a range of courses that reflect the diverse community of Tower Hamlets. Housed on the roof of an old Victorian school, the art department pride ourselves in our supportive and inclusive environment with a high tutor to student ratio. We are excellently resourced offering students a wide range of materials and equipment to experiment and realise their goals. Our tutors are practising artists with a diverse range of skills and working experience. Here at the Shadwell centre we enjoy a friendly atmosphere where students meet up in our café and get to know us as a community. As part of the Ideastore libraries we also have access to state of the art computer suites and construction areas and pride ourselves in our links with local business and industry. Tower Hamlets is a great place to study, we have enabled many former students to go on to great success.
