Deadlines for 2011-12 : Registration and Validation

Learner Registration

1. Registration for 1 year courses starting September 2011

Return of Access Learner Registration (ALR) spreadsheets as soon as possible after the course begins but no later than 1 December 2011.

There is a late registration fee of £15 per learner for those registered after 1 December 2011.

In cases where learners need to be transferred to a different Diploma the deadline

for transfer is 31 January 2012.

2. Registration for courses starting January 2012 and finishing July 2012

Return of Access Learner Registration (ALR) spreadsheets as soon as possible after

the course begins but no later than 31 January 2012.

There is a late registration fee of £15 per learner for those registered after 31 January 2012.

3. Registration for courses starting January 2012 and finishing January

2013

Return of Access Learner Registration (ALR) spreadsheets as soon as possible after

the course begins but no later than 1 April 2012.

There is a late registration fee of £15 per learner for those registered after 1 April 2012.

4. Registration for two year courses

Return of Access Learner Registration (ALR) spreadsheets as soon as possible after

the course begins but no later than 1 April 2012.

There is a late registration fee of £15 per learner for those registered after 1 April 2012.

Diploma validation

Submissions for revalidation of Diploma courses or new Diploma courses must be received by the following deadlines in order to be ready to run in September 2012:

  • 11 November 2011 for first full draft

  • 10 February 2012 for panel ready draft

Submitting amendments to Access Diploma courses

The following deadlines ensure that the approved changes are entered on the database before the Pre-RAC forms are issued and prior to external moderation.

  • Requests for adding new units or amending existing units must be received by OCNLR by 31 October 2011 for delivery in the current academic year. All units must be approved and added to the course prior to delivery.
  • Requests for adding or deleting approved units must be received by OCNLR by 31st January 2012 for delivery in the current academic year. All units must be added to the course prior to delivery.
