Full Level 2 status for NOCN Qualifications in Progression (QCF) confirmed by the LSC

OCNLR is pleased to announce that the Level 2 Certificate and Diploma in Progression (QCF) have been submitted by Asset Skills to the LSC as priority qualifications and target bearing in ALR. The qualifications therefore attract full Level 2 funding and learner achievement of the full Certificate or Diploma can contribute to a college’s Level 2 targets.

OCNLR aims to keep our centres, learners and others visiting our website updated on the latest developments in NOCN qualifications, examples of new and innovative OCN practice across the London region and the UK, Government policy initiatives and updates from LSC and ofqual, and a range of other information relevant to those interested in OCN accreditation and qualifications.

We issue a monthly ‘NOCN Qualification Update’, a quarterly e-newsletter and e-bulletins to keep our centres informed. We also run a range of events to focus on particular developments and initiatives and to offer opportunities for our centres to share good practice and network.

Our events also include regional standardisation meetings and briefings, both of which are an integral part of our Quality Assurance process to ensure consistency in verification and assessment practice, and to provide support in implementing any new curriculum and quality specifications.
