OCNLR are delighted to announce the Ofqual approval of brand new OCNLR Level 2 qualifications in health and social care.

OCNLR Level 2 Award in Food Safety in Health and Social Care and Early Years and Childcare Settings (QCF)

This qualification aims to develop a learner’s knowledge of food safety in a health and social care setting. It is aimed at learners who may be preparing for or new to a work role that involves handling food within health and social care, early years and childcare. Qualification achievement is through the attainment of 2 credits from one of the optional units.

OCNLR Level 2 Award in Promoting Food Safety and Nutrition in Health and Social Care or Early Years and Childcare Settings (QCF)

The aim of this qualification is to equip those working in the sector with the knowledge and skills to provide good nutritional care to people in receipt of social care services. Qualification achievement is through the attainment of 8 credits including 4 from the Mandatory units and 4 credits from any optional units.
