Designed for those with limited experience of internal verification who wish to deepen their knowledge and develop their practice; and those without an internal verification qualification, especially who wish to achieve Approved Internal Verifier Status (AIVS) awarded by the National Open College Network (NOCN).

Additional information
- A nationally accredited course of 9 credits at Level 3 which covers two units:
- Understanding Internal Verification (6 credits at Level 3) assessed and evidenced through four tasks
- Internal Verification in Practice (3 credits at Level 3) assessed and evidenced by two tasks
- 4 day course PLUS equivalent time at home or work to produce a portfolio of evidence (for those wishing to achieve the award)
- Guidance and support from tutor on evidence requirements
